Rotonda Lakes sits along the western edge of Charlotte County, bordered by a mix of canals, pine flatwoods, and quiet residential streets that feed into the larger Rotonda West planned community area. The neighborhood draws a mix of retirees, seasonal snowbirds, and year-round families who chose this corner of Southwest Florida for the peace, the golf-course proximity, and the reasonable lot sizes. Homes here tend to run one or two stories with wide roof overhangs, and the mature oak and pine trees that shade the yards shed debris straight into the gutters from June through October.
The climate here is the real challenge for gutters. Rotonda Lakes gets hammered by the same subtropical rainfall that soaks the rest of Charlotte County every summer. Afternoon storms roll in fast off the Gulf, dropping heavy rain in short bursts that overwhelm clogged gutters instantly. On top of that, the Spanish moss, pine needles, and palm fronds common to this area pack into downspouts quickly. A gutter that looked fine in April can be completely blocked by July if nobody cleans it between seasons.
